The interface in PC Lighthouse is broken into 3 main areas:

Program List (shown in red)

This area lists all of your currently running programs. The list is broken in User Programs and System Programs. The current CPU, Network, Memory and Disk usage are shown by the green and red bars. Below this area you will see 5 tabs which give more specific information on the selected program from the list.

System Info (shown in green)

Statistics for overall system performance are shown here. This information applies to all currently running program in the system.

Help Area (shown in blue)

This area displays help information when you click on the Help Icons as well as additional information from the Info and Windows tabs.

Information

Start-up Program Manager

Manage the programs that load when Windows boots up. You can remove programs to speed up booting and save memory, or add programs that you want to start automatically.

List Network Connections

List all programs that are connected to the Internet, as well as show where they are connected to. This useful tool lets you know where data is travelling through your computer.

View Network Traffic (Packets)

View every bit of data (packet) that travels through your system.

Exit

Exit the program. See 'When Exiting' under 'Settings' below.

Always On Top

PC Lighthouse will show above other windows with this option selected. This makes sure PCL is always visible.

Warnings

You can remove the warning window when Terminating a program, or closing an open File Handle.

When Exiting

You have 2 choices for exiting PC Lighthouse. You can have the program completely shut down, or you can have PCL minimize to the Task Bar (System Tray). It is recommended that you choose the second option (which is the default) to keep PCL handy in case you need it. PCL also uses only a fraction of normal CPU load when it is exited to the Task Bar.

Show PC Lighthouse in Program List

You can remove PC Lighthouse from showing in the Program List.

Program List Refresh Speed

The Refresh Speed is the speed at which PC Lighthouse refreshes the information for the listed programs. If you choose a faster speed your list will refresh faster, but PC Lighthouse will use more CPU time.

Graph Direction

You can set the history graphs to be drawn from left-to-right or from right-to-left.

License

Purchase PC Lighthouse

Takes you to the PC Lighthouse purchase page where you can order your license of PC Lighthouse.

Serial Number …

After purchasing you will receive a Serial Number, enter this number here to unlock PC Lighthouse. You can also activate the 15 day Trial of PC Lighthouse from here.

About PC Lighthouse

Opens the About Box. This box displays the program version and build date. Compare this date with the date on the download page to ensure you are running the latest version of PC Lighthouse. You can also view recent changes to the program.

PC Lighthouse has a built in Help System that gives you content specific information at a single click. Located throughout PC Lighthouse are Help Icons . When you click on these icons (as shown in the screenshot to the right) information will be displayed for the relevant topic.
