1) Is PC Lighthouse really free?

Yes it is free, you can use it for free as long as you like. You can also download new versions when they come out and upgrade for free.

2) Does PC Lighthouse work on all versions of Windows?

PC Lighthouse works on the following version of Windows:

Windows 2003
Windows XP
Windows 2000

3) How Does PC Lighthouse Terminate a program?

When you choose to Terminate a program, PC Lighthouse does this in two steps. In the first step PCL asks the program to shut itself down. If the program does not shut down in a couple seconds PCL kills the program itself. PCL will kill 99% of all programs running on your computer, so be careful when killing System Programs.

4) How can I stop programs from loading every time Windows boots up?

From the menubar click on 'Information » Start-up Program Manager'. A window will open up and from there you can manage the programs that start when Windows boots up.
